Bocas del Toro is a tourist site internationally recognized. This province is located at the northwest of the Republic of Panama, with terrestrial access via, marine or aerial from the Capital.

Contadora Island
The name in Spanish is the "accountant" and this island holds history as no island in the Pacific Ocean . Utilized by the Spaniards between the XVI and XVII century to account for all the gold and silver brought from South America , specifically Peru and Bolivia.

Coiba Island
An hour flight from Panama City via local flights, departing daily at around 7:00 a.m. from Marcos A. Gelabert airport. The flight is definitely a smooth one. We probably experienced turbulence for no more than ten seconds, and this was only once.

Bayano Caves
Departing from the city of panama, a three hour ride by road awaits you, practically to the end of the Pan-American Highway . This of course is in panama. In a very rural, yet colorful part of the country, specifically the eastern region of the isthmus. Mainly inhabited by the Kuna indigenous groups and commonly known as Bayano.

Panama Canal Zone
A fifty mile stretch from ocean to ocean and five miles to each side of the Panama Canal is known amongst Panamanians as the former Canal Zone. This portion of land, together with the Panama Canal operations were returned to this country in 2000.
